Rescheduling anything always risks losing a number of
bodies in a meeting. If you do it, make sure that
sharpie can make it on the thirtieth and make extra
double sure (by calling everyone in person) that other
people are not put off by it.
One of the most frustrating things for people joining
new groups is when group decisions are changed without
first asking the group and it sounds like the group
agreed to a meeting time and a limited number of
people are talking about just changing it.
The best thing to do in new groups is be consistent,
be dependable, so what you say your going to do.
However good the reasoning for a change is, you always
have to check with everyone who first made the
decision before you change it as a matter of being
considerate to the decision makers ( and not pissing
them off).
