Dear Friends,
The homepage http://www.mydemocracy.net {http://www.mydemocracy.net/}
has been updated. It now includes the majority of the articles I have
written and they are all linked to one of the websites that posted
them. Since I do not charge any website or newspaper for publishing
the material, I have recently insisted that no one should have an
exclusive, many websites complied with simultaneous postings and I am
very appreciative to them. The effort started about 2 years and 9
months ago and I constantly pushed the envelope in terms of what
should be done with the information. I consider what I uncovered to
be a very serious crime. Most people shy away or cringe when the word
treason is mentioned but how else could the crime be described. The
effort started with trying to get mainstream to pay attention, even
while I was doing the investigative work, I purposely kept the
evidence simple and inexpensive to independently verify (take that
excuse away); there were no takers within mainstream. They would
rather spend millions and tons of hours on Anna Nicole Smith. Even
Jonathan Landay, the poster boy in Bill Moyers Buying the War,
with whom a close relationship developed, did not manage over a
period of a year and a half to pick up the phone and call his so
called sources; or maybe he did and was told to stay away from the
topic. Anyway, after Buying the War aired, I emailed Jonathan and
told him to beware, they might be setting him up to sell the next war
since the rest of mainstream was bankrupt in that area. The
disappointment did not stop with mainstream, it came next from what
many view as the alternative media but the truth is, they are only
mainstream wannabes. The Nation wasted two months of my time, so did
Salon. I will always respect Counterpunch, not just for what the
quality material they consistently put out, but also because they
spent a good chunk of their time editing the piece, and even though
they took a lot out, they consoled me by saying; it reads better now
and it is easier to defend, and they were right. After that, I hooked
up with Ed Haas of The Muckraker Report; we became friends and
co-operated on many pieces; even readers were contributing to our
work since we were both very responsive to reader input. I never
thought that I would still be doing this. In my latest message to
this list I asked if you guys could sign a petition
{http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/616163608}, and was hoping
for a stronger response, you could still sign it. It can be found at
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/616163608
{http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/616163608} Since then, a
new action was started, it is an effort to bring the judiciary into
the process since congress, House and Senate Judiciary Committees,
and the DoJ, well, at least Patrick Fitzgerald, a variety of
attorneys general from CT, NY, and NJ, and even the Manhattan DA
failed to do what the law requires of them. It seems that under the
U.S. Codes covering Treason and Misprision of Treason, Federal
Judges have the jurisdiction and authority to act. This new action
item can be found on the website http://www.mydemocracy.net
{http://www.mydemocracy.net/} , titled Misprision of Treason it is
a template with instructions and tools for those in the various
states to inform a Federal Judge, or more than one, of acts of
treason by the Bush administration. I have done my bit and hand
delivered the information to four judges in Connecticut. By the time
you receive this email there will be four or five more informed in
California. The call to action is also posted on a very visible
website and should have national exposure. The other location is

{http://www.911blogger.com/node/10503} Other good developments that
resulted from this work is that one of the most respected authors on
9/11 tried this summer to stop the printing of his book in order to
revise certain accounts based on my work and that of Ed Haas; he
managed a limited revision. Also this summer, the most viewed
documentary on 9/11 will very likely change certain accounts in their
final release to reflect the work. And recently, an article was
accepted for publication by The Translators Network for Linguistic
Diversity and will be proposed for translation to the translators
network. The work should be included in the next Project Censored
book but I am not holding my breath. Also, 4 radio shows and 2 TV
interviews. From the first day I set up the website
http://www.mydemocracy.net {http://www.mydemocracy.net/} I had a
donation button set up. Since I could not donate to myself through
paypal, a buddy donated $10 to test it; quite generous for a test.
That was the only donation received through that button. There was a
donation of $50, from a friend in CT, dedicated to the purchase of an
item that was needed for the research and what I consider a pro bono
work worth about $300. The actual cost in time and material to do the
work that you see is close to $30,000 if not more. I have never
complained and despite all the hardships the work went on, and all
the little odd jobs I got, they were used to subsidize the work. We
are in the home stretch now but have to admit that, after close to
three years burning the candle at both ends, I am physically,
emotionally, and financially drained. Your financial support is more
important now than ever. Final reminders, if you cannot contribute
financially, please make sure that you take action. Sincerely, Maher
Osseiran
