[Boston-video] video switcher needs a home

Up for grabs:

I'm being evicted (see *** below), and need to get rid rid
of this ASAP.  Will be thrown out in the trash this week if
no one expresses interest.

* A/V multiplex switch, about 16-inputs and 10-outputs,
I think.  This was used at MIT, I think for part of their
campus-wide cable system.  I don't know if it works, but
we could check out the video before you took it if you want
(the audio seems to go in/come out via a custom DIN cable).

It's not too bad for one person to carry.

* Dozens of unused, black plastic DVD holders, plus a few
padded mailers of appropriate size.

* Misc other stuff, like a pre-G3 Mac, and a pentium-1,
free to anyone on this list.  There might be some
better stuff at a yardsale (probably this Saturday 8/13
(noon), at 141 Western Ave., Cambridge)

*** I'm in great need of a new place to live.  If anyone
knows of any individuals or group-houses with an opening
in their apartment, please email me.  Non-smoker, no pets;
my one bad habit is collecting stuff (like the above) but
I'll have a storage space to keep from bringing too much
home.  (The up-side is you can always get the right electrical
adapter or computer advice 24 hours per day for free.  But
I never speak of computers unless asked about them.)
