This is the email I referred to sent a few weeks
ago.............................................
Greetings Comrades:
If the numbers I have are correct as listed below, we have covered two of
three top picks. The third being #6 regarding global warming and the fourth
being #6 on free trade. Perhaps Marjy and Sharpie will have time to chime in
on these. I could add some more topics but I'd rather hear from others if you
have suggestions. The only confusion with this is if people vote and then
others add more subjects to vote on so I would suggest people make any
additions over the weekend and we do another round next week.
As Gary has been so supportive and on top of our project, I hope you will
consider rejoining IMC, or at least this project hence I've Cc'd you. You're
name came up last night (before you called in!) regarding your wealth of
knowledge on public domain video that we could use for the show. Christiano is
also full of ideas and enthusiasm and has committed to next week's show. Karen
is taking classes at SCAT and is also enthusiastic about helping out in the
weeks/months to come. In addition to hosting or answering the phone, I'm
willing to help where I can. I'd like to do some man/woman-on-the-street
interviews regarding one of our upcoming subject/s and tailor the roll-in to that
subject. If anyone wants to go out and shoot some material, just let me know
and I'm willing to learn editing as well.
The biweekly v. weekly live program was discussed a few weeks ago between
Sofia, Svea, and myself and it was mentioned again last night. If the
challenge is scheduling and having enough volunteers to do a weekly live show, I'm
committed to helping that happen. If folks want to do the biweekly show, then
we should agree on the dates for live production so the volunteer schedule
can be filled in.
The following dates for our show are:
11/17/05 Prerecorded
11/24/05 Thanksgiving
12/01/05 Prerecorded
12/08/05 Brian Conley
12/15/05 Universal healthcare in Massachusetts
12/22/05
12/27/05
Polling results:
Svea 1,2,3,5,6
Michael 2,4,6,9,12
Sofia 1,2,4,5,6
Andrew 1,6,2,10,3
Marjy?
