Hi Andrew,
Sorry for the misunderstanding but last time we talked I asked if you wanted me to host tomorrow and you said yes. Remember? You & I decided that since I would be gone on Thurs. the 21st, when you or someone else could host.
I wouldn't have a 2nd guest if you were hosting w/out previous consulting you. It is because I'd be hosting that I thought the time merits 2 guests.
Being that said, do you want to interview the person from mass health? I'm happy interviewing both people, and I also would be happy interviewing just the person for the death penalty. Sounds like you have a lot of questions for that person.
Also, Mike won't be in tomorrow, so although the headlines are done, we'll need someone to read them.
cheers,
Sofia
Ps: This brings to mind the fact that since we've been having scheduling guests at the last minute (no criticism on you, Andrew), it hasn't given us a chance to share questions amongst each other before the guest comes in... Just something to think about.

I'm disappointed given the recent discussions about collective decision making.
Especially, again, at the last minute. When we spoke about this I thought issues of urgency or if one subject could fairly be covered in a half-hour than two guests and two subjects would be appropriate. Did I misunderstand? If so, please correct me. ( ;
There are a myriad of issues regarding universal healthcare such as prescription drug costs, comparisons with other countries, costs of uninsured medical care, nursing homes, the new Medicare prescription drug plan, and the Massachusetts ballot initiative to name a few. I really wish others would chime in. In trying to do the scheduling and setting up guests, as well as my own preparation for when I host, this just throws me for a loop. Please share your feedback.
Karen and I would like to shoot some on-street-interviews to use as roll-ins for the 22nd on fair trade. It would be great to do one hour with the roll-ins and news. What do others think?
With Respect,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
Thank you! I was just looking at the MassAct website, and I really don't think I can build a 1-hour show on a ballot initiative. There a few questions that come to mind and those are mostly answered thru their website. It's an important issue and I'm happy to have them on the show, but I think we should have 2 guests tomorrow night.
I'm going to look around to see if we can get someone who works against the deathy penalty to talk about Tookie Williams.
cheers,
Sofia
