PETICIÓN DE LIBERTAD PARA
LOS CUATRO PRESOS POLÍTICOS

Desde el pasado 6 de Noviembre cuatro activistas se hallan en prisión
acusados del delito de "sedición". Fueron detenidos el viernes 4 del
mismo
mes cuando la policía reprimió de manera brutal una manifestación
organizada
en rechazo de la Cumbre de las Américas, la presencia de George Bush en
América Latina, el Área de Libre Comercio de las Américas (ALCA) y el
Tratado Bilateral de Inversiones (BIT) que ese día firmaban en Mar del
Plata
los gobiernos de Estados Unidos y Uruguay.

Miles de trabajadores, estudiantes y activistas se han movilizado desde
entonces
 exigiendo su libertad y la campaña continua. Te invitamos a
sumarte
al pedido de libertad para Claudio Piñeyro, Ignacio Corrales, Lilián
Bogado
y Fiorella González, copiando, firmando y enviando el texto de abajo a

OF THE FOUR POLITICAL PRISONERS

Since November 6 four activists are in prison charged with
 "sedition".
They
were detained on Friday 4 when the police brutally attacked a
demonstration
organized in rejection of the Summit of the Americas, George Bush
presence
in Latin America, the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) and the
Bilateral Investments Treaty (BIT) signed that day in Mar del Plata by
the
governments of United States and Uruguay.

Thousands of workers, students and activists have mobilized since then,
demanding their freedom and the campaign continues. We invite you to
join
the appeal for the freedom of Claudio Piñeyro, Ignacio Corrales, Lilián
Bogado and Fiorella González, copying, signing and sending the text

anti-imperialist and anti-capitalist ideas. This fact questions the
