Concerning squats, you can see on http://marseille.indymedia.org that
there are many expulsions right now. So if you need a place to sleep,
maybe the best thing is to go to the bar named "Tournez la page", you may
find people living in those squats there.

To get there, you should ask to people where is "La plaine", and when you
arrive here (the official name is "place Jean Jaures", it is a big
square), then you look for a bar named "L'intermediaire". On this corner
of the square, the street "rue Saint Pierre" begins. You just have to take
that street, and walk about 200m, and the bar 'Tournez la page' is on your
right.
