Hi people.

While I'm not actually living in New Zealand anymore, I played a small 
role in getting aotearoa.indymedia.org off the ground, look after 
their DNS records, and generally feel a bit of affinity with that project.

There's been a couple of times where I've been aware of server issues 
affecting the site that I could probably have sorted out given access. 
Just now there was a brief DB outage that got commented on in the #oceania 
channel on irc.indymedia.org.

If it's wanted, I figured I'd offer some low key admin help.  I'm mostly 
busy on other projects already, so I'm not suggesting putting a lot of 
time in, but for outages and other emergencies, I figure more people 
involved means more chance of someone being on deck when needed.

I've been doing FreeBSD admin full time, mostly for scoop.co.nz since 
1998.  I've also been involved in cat.org.au for the past year or so. 
I've got strong FreeBSD sysadmin, networking, perl and mysql skills, and 
have done enough PHP for a bit of troubleshooting here and there.

In terms of trust, Finn and Pabs know and can vouch for me, or people 
on the catgeek at lists.cat.org.au list, or in the indy #oceania channel.
