[Deskaheh-sysadmin] Issues with deskaheh?

Hello deskaheh people!

Maybe it's just me, but over the last couple of days I noticed that
deskaeh seems very slow (response times).
If I log into deskaheh via ssh and ping sodor.buffaloimc.org, I get fast
ping times (of course):

64 bytes from xx.xx.xx.xxx: icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=0.508 ms
64 bytes from xx.xx.xx.xxx: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.474 ms
64 bytes from xx.xx.xx.xxx: icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=0.574 ms
64 bytes from xx.xx.xx.xxx: icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=0.489 ms

and no packet loss...

But if I ping google.com or other websites I get slow times and up to
25% packet loss:

64 bytes from 216.239.57.99: icmp_seq=1 ttl=231 time=429.759 ms

64 bytes from 216.239.57.99: icmp_seq=3 ttl=231 time=411.524 ms
64 bytes from 216.239.57.99: icmp_seq=4 ttl=231 time=417.807 ms
64 bytes from 216.239.57.99: icmp_seq=5 ttl=231 time=407.142 ms

I don't know if this is the normal behaviour or if there is something
wrong with the network (or provider issues).

So, can someone check this please or tell me if everything is ok with
deskaheh?
