[Deskaheh-sysadmin] More about backup of Hamilton

Hi all:

I sent out a query asking who, if anyone, is backing up IMC Hamilton's 
Database. I have not heard anything back. This leads me to worry that no 
backups are being done. I had been told by Brian that he was doing that, 
but the last time that we spoke about that was close to a year ago. 
Brian has moved since then, and I have taken his lack of participation 
in the emails around recent Deskaheh issues, along with difficulty in 
communicating with him by phone, as an indication that he is 
"disengaged" from Deskaheh issues. I don't know if he is reading this 
message, cause last I heard ski at inymedia.org was being served through 
Deskaheh, which is more or less down now, but it's all I have to work with.

Would anyone who knows anything about the backup process for Hamilton, 
or anyone who would be able to help us by providing help with this 
please respond to this message?

We would be willing to do this ourselves, but do not have the necessary 
access, and would need a quick training. (I am assuming it reqires an 
ftp of the Dada and MYSql dirs for Hamilton)
