The slow scp is a known problem on Deskaheh, it caused me a lot of stress
while trying to download an archive after the recent FBI seizure :)

As far as I know, no one has looked at it - we are desperately short of
sysadmins on Deskaheh. If anyone has experience with FreeBSD, their help 
would be really appreciated. The admin list is at
deskaheh-sysadmin at lists.indymedia.org
