[Deskaheh-sysadmin] Big database problem on Hamilton site was: Re: 2700 emails from deskaheh, help!

O.K. (Well, pretty fucking far from o.k. actually)

I did as you suggested, this is the output from the SQL Interface:

Table = hamiltondada.articles

Record: 1
Table = hamiltondada.articles
Op = repair
Msg_type = warning
Msg_text = Number of rows changed from 10724 to 7883

Record: 2
Table = hamiltondada.articles
Op = repair
Msg_type = status
Msg_text = OK
------------------------------------------------

I then went to "maintainance" and flushed the cache.

Now when I look at the site the most recent feature story is from July 
2004, and the most recent wire story is from Aug 1 2004.

I see that the number of rows in the table has been changed from 10724 
to 7883, I assume that is where our content has gone...

Help, please!
