[Deskaheh-sysadmin] Unable to upload some sorts of media

An ongiong problem with the Hamilton site:

When I try to upload certain formats to the Hamilton site media gallery 
(.pdf and .mp3, maybe others I have not found yet) the uplad seems to 
proceed o.k. (i.e. lots of flashing lights on the cable modem) but then 
i get a dialog box on my web browser saying "Alert: the file contains no 
data" and there is no entry in the media gallery

I am using: Windows XP Service Pack 2 & Firefox 1.0.3

Other users have had this problem, we work around with audio by using 
the radio4all site wich accepts the files no problems, but it's a pain...

Anyone with insight on this?
