[Deskaheh-sysadmin] Sudo help needed: Fix required to php settings + Apache restart

Hi:

As you may have seen we cannot upload media greater than 2 meg to the
hamilton site due to php settings. This is bad since it makes audio
more or less broken (We need to use radio4all for all but the
smallest of audio stuff, and much .pdf won't work either) Could a
sudo please make the changes to

upload_max_filesize

and

post_max_size

in

/usr/local/php.ini

to 15 Meg , and then restart PHP and Apache so that they will take
effect?

Yep, that'll do it.

If you can edit /usr/local/php.ini, do that and change this to "20M"
or whatever is appropriate.

You'll also notice "post_max_size" is 8M...you _may_ need to change
this to match upload_max_filesize (I'm not sure whether or not it
includes the upload in the post_max_size).

If you can't edit php.ini, try adding it to

dt_master_include (or imc_master_include for < .99) with

ini_set('upload_max_filesize','20M');

(You'll see other similar entries in that file).
