Hi

I agree with Micah, I'm not sure beginning to develop a webapp to manage
DNS is the best way to have a reliable DNS. Looks like lot of energy for
a problem that can be easily resolved with some more ppl in the group
and a good tracking system ;] I'm not sure indymedia have sooo much
ressources in coders and admins and all to begin to develop a real goos
secure webapp for such a thing.

The DNS queue is already setup since long time in SOS,
dns at sos.indymedia.org is ready to be filled by request, we just need to
find a way to tell ppl not to use the dns list anymore.

Maybe the DNS ppl need a little meeting...

Damian, if you're interested to have a login in SoS to manage the DNS
queue, please send a mail to sos at sos.indymedia.org (the sos queue) with
the email you wish to use as a contact and the login you want.

| It seems like the DNS group could use some help. If I were to point you
| to something that could be done to help DNS out a lot, it would be
| getting the DNS team working with the SOS tracking system that Alster
| and bertagaz and others have set up. These guys hang out on IRC[1] and
| they have a mailing list[2]. There has been talk about using this
| system, but we need to figure out what needs to be done to actually
| start using it and get going on using it.
