This sounds really useful so I will be attending. Sorry for 
being wiki phobic & also not replying earlier. 

I would hope that DVD authoring could have quite a bit of 
time allocated as it's an important new skill that's only 
come onto the scene after most peeps have learned their 
original vid skills. The London group has found that activist 
DVDs are excellent for outreach - brilliant quality & no 
techie computer skills needed for the punters to play them & 
also them costing just 20 pence to duplicate, have been quite 
a nice little earner for us. 

At a pinch I could offer a look at quick & dirty windows 
software for converting various digital file formats into 
DVD - useful for avoiding the dreaded codec probs when 
sharing video clips. What I don't have experience of is full 
blown quality authoring from DV tape etc as I don't have a 
camera to experiment with. Hopefully others can cover this.
