hi all

I'm sorry that this project doesn't seem to have much
of a life any more :) I used to enjoy it and still
show films from the ENR at screenings regularly.

Anyway here's a couple of new things that I wanted to
forward to this list.

Please ask me if you want to join the transmission
list which is very active for International
collaboration on Video distribution.

Sure don't get me wrong!

We got really excited about it at the vxmission event
and acracia event did a diagram to show how it might
work.

The activity on the Metadata and Subtitles lists seems
to have stalled a bit so actually a more ambitions
project like this one for subtitle searches would be
very welcome from me.

Bring it on!

ps - if this is relevent to any of your networks
please pass it on!

people interested in and/or working in the areas of
alternative media, renewable energy, on-line video
distribution, free software and any other form of
activism that utilises technology.

The idea for the gathering has come from a number of
years of experience gained by activists working for
organisations such as Indymedia and includes specific
experience from involvement in the camps for climate
action in Selby (2006) and Heathrow (2007) as well as
the No Borders camp at Gatwick (2007).
