Salut tous,

Hello there,
I am very happy some things are roling and it seems we can draw from a
variety of perspectives this time which is great...i would like to say
we also need this because the WSF is gonna be a big challenge and a big
chance.
I like the plan layed out as it was by Jay and John and it intrigues me
to come and see how it will work out. Like Jay I am not entirly sure
that I can make it, However I would like to offer assiastance in
regards of fundraising among UK Indymedia and european foundations. For
this we need to make plans more concrete soon and decide some sort of
budget, including possibly the number of african IMCistas willing to
come and join the Indysphere in Nairoibi, the cost of housing,
technics, local transport for the convergence in Nairobi.
Also I may add, I would like to ask how much time we should calculate
for the convergence...wouldn't it be great to start the meeting a
little earlier (like a week) in order to get some socializing, training
done before the WSF actually starts?
Anyway the foundation Umverteilen which did a big job assisting earlier
meetings in Dakar and Bamako asked us to apply again, but early this
time (!), possibly as they said, after the (nothern) summer, which is
now.

lots of motivation
Fabian from IMC Sheffield, UK
