hi sphinx, just a quick follow up question about something you wrote below:

i thought we already had space set aside in the convergence center / guest
house? are we planning on running the radio station, workshops and imc
workspace in another physical building? is that building confirmed yet, or is
that another space that needs to be rented out?
i would not be entirely opposed to having some space at the world social forum,
but i don't think it is the best option. there will be far too much traffic,
and no way we could accommodate the number of people coming through any space at
the world social forum for radio workshops. also, there is the question of
security and having radio equipment on the world social forum site. we will
need a space dedicated to just the station, and i think dedicated spaces for imc
computers and separate workshop space. if these are all in close proximity,
that would be ideal. if we need to rent another space for that, do we have the
budget to do so? what do people think about that?
maybe i misunderstood the situation, so please correct me if i am wrong! ;)
