Hi Fabian!
The situation in Ambazonia is very critical right now. Basically a few
days ago
the police shot some more students dead, injured a coupe of others and
incarcerated a handful, in an attempt to stop a student?s protest that
started a few days earlier. The students were protesting against attempts by
the Cameroon regime to fix results of the entrance exams to the Medical School
at the University of Buea. So it is dangerous for students to even
leave their
rooms much less to go to the internet café as the whole University neighborhood
is under an undeclared state of emergency. I talked with the elected
Chairman of
the students Union who is still in hiding, the situation is pretty precarious.
I've tried unsuccessfully to call Rene and Bih but the call did not go
through.
They should be able to contact you in the days ahead. You can equally try
calling them too. Here are their numbers:
Rene +237-54-94-358 and Bih +237-57-89-520
