some of the hardware that we will all need is computers, and networking gear.
smaller computers, such as laptops will be at a premium as they don't take up as
much space.  they can also be moved around easier, and will often have wireless
which makes networking easier.  there are some security risks with laptops being
easier to walk off with, but i think those are likely minimal.

in terms of networking hardware, we will need ethernet networking equipment, and
wireless access points.  hopefully there will be a wired internet connection,
which we can hook up a router, switch or other hub for the wired computers.  a
wifi access point for the laptops can be fed off of that.  we have none of that
stuff, and no information on what is available in nairobi, so any more
information on that subject would be great.
