Dear All,
  This morning I had a look at several houses and came up with a few options as follows:
  There are three three bedroom units with their own compound (total of nine bedrooms) in an an estate quite close to WSF venue known as Thome. Each unit is going for 55,000 kenya shillings (about 765 USD) meaning that the total of renting the entire place would be 2295 USD. We however have to rent the furniture and I will meet some furniture owners tomorrow to get an idea of the cost. 
   
  I have been informed that we can also get we can also get other alternatives further away in a place known as Lavington, at a slightly less cost (1800 - 2000 USD). There are about 4 such houses that we will visit. I did find other suitable and slighlty cheaper options but the problem is that their leases have a minumum of three months and not one month. Others are too small and there are no other vacant houses nearby meaning that people would have to separate. This is why I am more keen on the Thome estate houses. I will see if I can get any better deals before tuesday. The important thing will be to secure a spacious house/s before the first person arrives on the sixth.
