                  1. Preparatory consultation for WSF 2007 has already started
                  It is now available the online consultation on actions, campaigns and struggles in which organizations, networks and entities who participate at the WSF process are engaged in. The consultation is the first step to build the program of WSF 2007, in Nairobi, Kenya. Click here: http://www.forumsocialmundial.org.br/dinamic.php?pagina=consulta_fsm2007_ing to read the complete information about this consultation.

                  In order to fill in the consultation questionnaire, please access the website: http://consultation.wsf2007.org/. Organizations who have registered on the Polycentric WSF 2006 website (www.wsf2006.org) are not required to fill in all the forms again. They can access the site http://consultation.wsf2007.org/ using the same username and password from the polycentric 2006 site above mentioned and then, click on the top menu "Consultation on actions, campaigns and struggles" > "Add new". Up to now, the site is only in English. But soon it will be available also in French and Castellano/Spanish. The deadline to send your answers is July 30th, 2006.

                  2. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about the consultation

                  Who can take part on the WSF 2007 preparatory consultation?
                  The WSF 2007 preparatory consultation on actions, campaigns and struggles focuses on organizations, entities, networks and other collective actors who have been following or participating on the WSF process. Those individuals who are interested in knowing the actions, campaigns and struggles in which the participant organizations are engaged in can register on the consultation site and interact with them. Attention: this registration is not yet the registration for the Nairobi event. Registration fees, format and procedures for the WSF 2007 event are to be decided.

                  What are the steps to participate on WSF 2007 preparatory consultation?
                  There are two possibilities:

                  1) If the organization had registered previously on the WSF 2006 polycentric website (www.wsf2006.org):
                  a) Access the website http://consultation.wsf2007.org with username and password used on the polycentric website, select the organization name and click in "Go"
                  b) Click in "Consultation on actions, campaigns and struggles" and, after, on the "Add new" button. You will see the consultation form. Fill in one for each action, campaign and struggle in which your organization has participated on the last five years

                  2) In case your organization does not have a previous registration, please follow the steps below:
                  a) First, register as individual on the site http://consultation.wsf2007.org
                  b) After, register your organization. After finishing this registration, you will be taken to a screen where you must select the organization that you have just added. Then, click in "Go"
                  c) Finally, click in "Consultation on actions, campaigns and struggles" and, after, on the "Add new" button. You will see the consultation form. Fill in one form for each action, campaign and struggle in which your organization has participated on the last five years

                  The website is only in English now. However, the complete consultation form is available for download in French and Castellano on the same site.

                  My organization was already registered on the polycentric WSF 2006 website: what should I do to recover my username and password?
                  Enter the website http://consultation.wsf2007.org. Then, click on "forgot password" which is on the left side menu. On the "Forgot username" field, fill in the field "e-mail" with the e-mail you chose when registering. Click on "submit". You will receive a message containing your username and password. Attention: the system is "case sensitive". This means that you must type your username and password exactly as it was received in your e-mail (with capital and small letters).

                  Where can I see/search the list of answers to the consultation on actions, campaigns and struggles?
                  Enter the website http://consultation.wsf2007.org. The list of answers is available on "Consultation on actions, campaigns and struggles". The complete list with title of each answer, area/issue, aims, name of the organization and contact will be shown. In order to view the complete details of the answer, click on the title of action, campaign or struggle. Attention: for this, the user must login first on the site with its username and password.

                  What is the deadline to answer to the WSF 2007 preparatory consultation?
                  The deadline to answer to the consultation is July 30, 2006.

                  Is it possible for me to edit my answers to the consultation?
                  Yes. Up to July 30th 2006, the organizations will be able to edit the information they provided on the consultation form as well as to delete or aggregate new answers. In order to do this, enter the consultation site with your username and password, select your organization and click "Go". Then, click in "Consultation on actions, campaigns and struggles" and on the button "My list". Choose the answer that you wish to edit or delete and, then, click on the correspondent buttons on the right ("Edit" or "Delete").


                  3. Caribbean Social Forum is taking place in Martinique
                  Caribbean Social Forum is taking place from July 5 to 9, 2006, in Martinique. Complete information about event themes and program is available on the site http://www.fsc2006-martinique.com/ in French, English and Castellano. For queries, write to fsc2006 at hotmail.fr.


                  4. Call for the 2nd Triple Frontier Social Forum
                  It is already available the call of the 2nd Triple Frontier Social Forum, which brings information about the event registration, themes and previous program.
