Bon Jour tous,
agreable deja a Bamako.
mellieur.
Alors, les jeux sont overtes (esperons)
Hello everybody,
The WSF Nariobi comes closer fastly and we need to start thinking about
the possibilities, to plan and exchance plans about activities at the
forum local media groups, the african and global indymedia network. At
the moment it would be great to learn more about existing initiatives
by independent media groups from Kenia, and to connect these efforts
(if that is whished) with other collectives.
So this is really primarily a call for activists in this list from
Kenia: are you guys planning something for WSF and how can you imagine
this network to be instrumental for this.
I think it is absolutely essential to work on a local impact of the
forum, a boost for the local independent media scene in a sense that
both new activists are mobilised and new ressourses opened. At the same
time the forum can be a chance to connect and co-operate between local
and African and other activists in a similar way that the Forum in
Bamako quite succesfully did.
Maybe we could start by hearing hopefully from Kenia and other
collectives about their plans and ideas. If people are connected to
other networks (mailinglists) please forward this call.
It would be good to co-ordinate our efforts broadly and I think it is
important to start now, so that by the end of summer we can go ahead
with further planning of the projects.
