[Imc-africa] licensing -- what's the current status?

Hello there,
thanks Oloo for the brief description on the situation. I
just a very quick thought/suggestion on this
I think we should just go forward and transmit the radio program during
the forum regardless of legal situation. If authorities should shut it
down, we would have a case of anti-democratic scandal by the kenian
authorities which they won't be likely to want during the forum...so I
guess we are pretty safe.
for afterwards, obviously, a forming Indymedia group has to deal with the
local situation regarding the law...that is further information about
licensing is really crucial for the long term implications of the radio
project...as was said before
but there should be a way.
What I am saying is, in my opinion this question albeit important
shouldn't be in the way of further planning and implementation of the
radio project in nairobi and beyond.

best
Fabian
