I haven't seen any response to this question on the imc-africa list yet, 
though I may have missed it.

If we start now we might be able to get the idea of opening a 
"wsf.indymedia.org" site passed through the network, or 
"wsf2007.indymedia.org" or "wsfNairobi.indymedia.org" to indicate more that 
it's time-specific.  To make this proposal practical we'd probably have to 
come to the network saying we have enough techies working on the project 
that we could maintain it throughout the WSF.  Even if we get the domain 
name but don't have people to get and keep it running we wouldn't be 
accomplishing much.

So, maybe first we should find if there are any techies, either through the 
SA-IMC or elsewhere, who could form tech support.
