Hello together 

You must remember me from the Dakar conference where i held
workshops on interview techniques et al. 

One of my main insights from Dakar was that Indymedia ought
to be more than the website we all know - especially, when
talking about emancipationary and participationary media in
Africa. 

I have been running a grassroots screenprint workshop in
London for one year now.  Screen printing is a wonderfully
simple technique (once you know how to do it), it combines
art, politics, publicity and business, and must be among the
best ways to speak out in Africa.  I would love to set up
a screen print workshop and teach the technique in Nairobi
if only my flight expenses could be covered.  Participants
should be able to start similar workshops in their home town
with a starting budget of about only 50 dollar for basic
materials.
