well its a giid manual for beginners, congratz :)
but i want to add streambox - streambox.org
its a linux-distro based on knoppix for ogg/mp3 streaming and in my eyes
its much more stable than dyne and what is alos better it comes not per
default with the root user [in dyne you are per default root, what is
quite a bad idea]
for mac there is also now a new version of muse out, but still unstable,
so if we have mac users here, the best way is to install fink and
/darwin ports and compile its from source you can do that with ices2 and
darkice too
