I have herein given details of our schedule from Africa destination on
the dates specified and I have also indicated the applicable lowest
rates .
Please note the rates are subject to changes unless the booking is done
immediately .
Should you accept our rates we can furnish you with our bank account
details for you to wire the money and we issue electronic tkts except
from Bamako where we will have to send Prepaid ticket advise(pta).

Hello Jacinta! I?m Valentine (Sphinx). I called you this morning from
Minneapolis in relation to the tickets for our delegation coming to
Nairobi in January for the World Social Forum (WSF) Convergence
Independent Media Center(IMC).
As I told you over the phone I?ll copy Fabian who needs to be on the
same page with me on the organizing.
Here are the troubles I ran into as I try to organize tickets from your
airline for our delegates.
-At the time of my research for tickets for our 29person delegation
coming to Kenya from around, Africa, Europe, North and South America I
used mainly the online resource www.kayak.com which gave quotes
supposedly from your airline, on which bases I calculated our budget and
sent out our appeal for funds.
On reception of feedback from the funding organization to cover the
travel cost of the 17 Delegates coming from around Africa I checked
again with www.kayak.com with emphasis on details. Kayak rerouted my
search to your website www.kenya-airways.com .
On running the tickets check on your site I immediately noticed the
following
discrepancies:
-Each ticket for the two delegates from Douala-Cameroon cost 769 US
Dollars on kayak.
On your site each ticket cost 1,228 US Dollars.
-On Kayak I was able to get the cost of tickets for the two delegates
from Lagos-Nigeria at 900 US Dollars per ticket. On your site there in
not event the possibility to know the cost of tickets from Lagos because
Lagos is not listed on your dropdown menu for departure airports.
My question is can Kenyan-airways make some reductions for us, both
considering the problem with Kayak and the overall fact that we are
buying so many tickets on one shot.
These are the details:
Departure Date: 7 January 2007 (plus 2-3days)
Return Date: 27 January 2007 (plus-minus 2-3days)
I-From Africa
Number of Delegates and Departure Locations to Nairobi:
2 Tickets from Nigeria-Lagos
3 Tickets from Mali-Bamako
3 Tickets from South Africa (Cape town and Johannesburg)
1 Ticket from Egypt-Cairo
2 Tickets from Cameroon-Douala
6 Tickets from Uganda-Kampala-These are contemplating coming by road
though. But knowing the price you are offering will maybe affect the
decision to fly.
II-The other delegates will be personally coordinating the buying of
their own tickets. If you can get connections and offers/information
from the following destinations, we may convince the delegates from
those locations to coordinate their ticket shopping with us and thus you
as well.

3 Tickets from Switzerland-Zurich
1 Ticket from Netherlands-Amsterdam
1 Ticket from Germany-Berlin
2 Tickets from UK-London
North and South America:
1 Ticket from USA-Minneapolis/St.Paul
