Hello all!

I'm tatarana from sao paulo-brazil indymedia.
Congratulations for all the efforts and realizations that you all have
achieved so far.

I've read the docs and messages but until now I didn't have the
possibility to go to Africa.
Hopefully, things have changed and now there is a chance.

The "Ciranda" group (www.ciranda.net) is an open convergence of
independent media activist that work together during WSF times. But now,
it became a kind of open-publish system (similar to indymedia) that runs
not only during WSF.

As a photographer they invited me to go with them. So I should have a
work schedule with Ciranda during WSF. However, I'll also have some time
to do workshops and meetings at the indymedia convergence.

Lately, here in brazil, I've been involved in legal-security issues
regarding indymedia network. If I arrive in Nairobi, I would like to do
a talk with indymedia activist to discuss certain legal and security
issues. But this should be a more reserved talk.
I also could organize a discussion on image production politics
(photo-video), forms of representations, etc...

If things work out, I will get a planeticket through Ciranda, but I'll
have no other finance support, so I will need help to find a cheap place
to stay. It would be great if I could stay together with all of you!

Ok...from now on...I'm active in the imc-africa list.
