[Imc-africa] imc-kenya and new-imc process

Hi Imc-Africa, with a cc to new-imc,

Danielle and anyone else who is working to get the admin passwords 
for the kenya.indymedia.org site, if in your travels anyone is 
reluctant to give out the passwords for fear of IMC Kenya having not 
passed through the new-imc process, you can let them know that while 
the particulars of their going through the process are a bit cloudy, 
as you point out, there was a welcome message in 2005:

This doesn't mean they made it through all the parts of the new-imc 
process -- no one can remember them doing it -- but while the new-imc 
working group may ask for them to update their new-imc information 
after the World Social Forum and make their presence in the network 
more official, we don't want to hold up good work in Kenya for that 
formality.

So, let's get Kenya.indymedia.org off the ground, use it wisely and 
well.  During the WSF those who are more familiar with the network 
should work with people in Kenya to strengthen their collective so it 
will be sustainable long after the forum ends.  After everyone in 
Kenya has had a chance to rest after the forum we'll work with the 
collective to get all their information in order.
