here's a quick work-around for the kenya.indymedia.it problem.  you
need to edit your host file on the computer(s) you want to use for
admining the site, this is really easy, for instructions for various
os's look here:

http://practice.chatserve.com/hosts.html

basically, just this line to the file with a text editor:
216.17.145.92	kenya.indymedia.it

and then you should be able to hit kenya.indymedia.it no problem from
your browser(might take a reboot to kick in)

i might be able to help with the backup plan part of this(i'm one of
the people who maintain www.indymedia.org), but you'll need to explain
what you mean by "gettting" www.indymedia.org/wsf2007. do you want a
topic on www.indymedia.org for wsf articles?  do you want a whole new
open-publishing website?  let me know, and i can have something set up
quickly, but probably not before tomorrow (global currently doesn't
have topic pages, it would take me a while to set it up, and i have
something this evening i can't get out of.)
