Good afternoon all
There has been an iniative by the African
Union-official government and the South African
government as official mandated agents to coordinate
conferences in
USA-NewYork/London-Carabean/Europe-Paris 
on how the African Diaspora in these regions can play
a part in reshaping and being a part of the
development of the continent. This group of diaspora
will be delared a third region.

A PROPOSAL IS ON THE TABLE TO HAVE A PERMANENT
SECRETARIAT IN NY7LONDON AND EUROPE

EXTRACT FROM THE OUTCOMES DOCUMENT FOR THE 2 DAYS-

The preamble

African Diaspora delegates in Europe met at a Regional
Consultative Conference co-organised by the african
Union and the Government of South Africa  in Paris
France on the 11th + 12th Sept. 2007. The delegates
were drawn from France, Italy,Spain, Portugal,
Netherland, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and Belgium.

The Conference was one of the six regional
consultative fora organised by the AU world wide with
the view to galvanising Africa Diaspora contribution
and input towards the African Diaspora contribution
and input towards the AU diaspora Ministerial meetings
to be held in South Africa in November 2007, and the
summit Heads of State and government scheduled for
early 2008 in the same country.

Seven commissions in two plenary sessions were guided
by its participants towards its objectives to inform
the AU Diaspora summit;
- to create sustainable partnerships between the AD
and the African continent through realisable programme
of action
- to create sustainable dialogue, partnership and
strengthening of Pan African solidarity for  abetter
Africa and its diaspora.
- to promote south -south cooperation for the
betterment of the african continent and ist diaspora.
