[Imc-africa] Website (Attn: Kwadronaut and the tech team)

Hi Kwadronaut,
  I had not seen your earlier email. 
   
  What we need is to duly and fully utilise the site by uploading audio, video, photos and print material regularly (possibly daily). But we do not have the capacity to do this, so we need volunteers to work with us in the short term as we build our capacity in the mid and long term. Any suggestions on how this can be done speedily (yet not in rushed manner) is most welcome. In our current situation of unrest in the country, the website will help us to help and empower hundreds of people to 'become the media.' Although most of these people whose thoughts will be captured on the website will not access internet, the world will see and hear what is happening from the people themselves. There thousands of Kenyans in urban centers do access internet and they can therefore be able to see the other side of the coin. This should help a lot in healing as people get to see other views, not as presented by politicians but from people themselves.
   
  So please guide us about what you feel is the best approach that will enable us to realise what I have just described, sooner rather than later.

Are you building a new site? In my earlier e-mail I explained the different
contacts you can use to reactivate publishing on the current website. I am
now a bit confused about what imc kenya wants: to build a new site or reuse
the current one. Can you tell me?
