*Volunteer Research Assistants for Peace Radio Programs in Kenya*

VUMA Kenya, an initiative with the mission to mobilize ALL Kenyans and
concerned global citizens both within and outside Kenya's borders to uungana
pamoja (come together as one) and harambee (pool) our resources together to
bring an end to the post-election violence and strife currently tearing our
Kenya apart and to engage all participants in productive peace-centered
initiatives, is seeking volunteer research assistants for peace radio
programs in Kenya.

VUMA has been in touch with radio stations in Kenya and is supporting
stations to design, record, and play educational peace programs. The
research assistance would help identify topics for discussion, assist with
background research, and communicate with radio staff in Kenyato design
programs. The position requires no technical experiences with radio or
broadcasting, though such knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

The volunteer position requires one or two hours a week and most of the work
will be done via phone and email, meaning it can be done from anywhere.
This is a great opportunity to be involved with a dynamic group responding
to the crisis in Kenya, and gaining experience working with media peace
education.
