[Imc-alternatives] a check in today at 22:00 gmt

Hi Mair,

Josef and Mamading suggest using the IRC client Chatzilla 
(http://www.mozilla.org/projects/rt-messaging/chatzilla/user-guide.html), 
which is an add-on to the Firefox browser.  In the past I've used 
Mirc (http://www.mirc.com).

Perhaps an easy way for today before you figure out how to use one of 
the above, is that you can point your browser at 
"https://chat.indymedia.org".  Type your in the "guest" box, in the 
box that says "extra channels" type "#alternatives", and unclick the 
box in the list below that says "indymedia" (you'll see).

Give it a test run earlier in the day to see if it works, or take a 
moment to play with Chatzilla or another Mirc client.  IRC can be 
frustrating, but it can also be fun!
