Activists, Anarchists, and Revolutionaries are now morphed into "self- 
sufficient hipsters and hackers." Thanks.

Basically, I don't believe it. "How to" manuals already exist on the  
web. This is nothing new. Even collaborative "how to" manuals exist  
on the web. I think these kinds of things can be useful, and are one  
aspect of what potential the internet has.

However, it seriously lacks what would make a fine activist/anarchist  
project:
a) interaction with and action within the real world.
	Just because I know how to turn my crappy speakers into awesome  
headphones doesn't really mean what I'm doing is politically or  
socially important, other then I made the choice (this time) not to  
go out and buy.

b) social interaction with some dramatic and politically significant  
result.
	Just because me and you edit a page together doesn't make you my  
friend, it doesn't mean I trust you in any significant way, and it  
doesn't mean that our unstable and vague relationship means something  
offline.
