[Imc-alternatives] DESIGN! -- still looking for bottom-liner

Hi Alternatives IMC,

A week or so ago I sent a note to this list seeking kind-hearted,
forward-thinking Alternatives IMC folks if anyone would be interested
in bottom-lining the design discussions about an alternatives site
(including things like visual appearance and site usability). Is
there anyone interested? I know Aaron C. and a couple others are
working hard on this aspect for the PhillyIMC site, but the
Alternatives site is going to be quite a different animal.

I can definitely help, but I'm far from skilled enough to be able to
bottom-line, or even co-facilitate this subgroup.

Hi alternatives,

At the meeting Thursday Aaron C. raised an excellent point about how
the alternatives project should really get in gear to work on the
design/navigation of the future site at the same time as we're
talking about code. This parallel discussion could finally get us
thinking in practical terms about how we want the site to
work. Working on design /navigation would also give people who
aren't techies a place to plug in.

At various points we've had good discussions about design on this
list, but now maybe we could focus a sub-group to really take charge
of that process.

Are there any volunteers to be on that subgroup?

Jay
