Hi,

On the Alternatives site design
(http://www.thunderwhip.com/imc/Home-Page.jpg) you'll notice we've
come up with "Contribute" as something other than "Publish" to
describe what people can do to participate in the site. Can you help
think of anything more accurate or inspiring?

We're looking for a word that will be consistent over the three
sections of the site -- News, Network and Knoweledge. So, a word
like "publish" may make sense for the newswire but not for the
others. Do you have any particular reaction to the following?:

-- Contribute
-- Publish
-- Act
-- Post
-- Participate
-- Organize
-- Collaborate

I'm afraid "Contribute" sounds too much like a plea for
donations. "Post" is language that is familiar to people who are use
the web, but may not be that inspiring. "Publish" won't be too
applicable to people who are posting in order to participate in the
networking section when that is up and running, and "Organize" and
"Collaborate" won't encourage people to post articles. Do you think
"Act" would make sense or would it be too vague?

Help....!

Jay
