Thanks Jay, was wondering when you might chirp in. I passed along your
contact info to Dylan, our LPIMC tech, as requested, but learned recently
that he lost his phone. In case you don't yet have it, his email is
Dylan Nissley email: symbollocks at gmail dot comHe has experience with
drupal and phpcake--looked at some cake indymedia links I forwarded to him,
and was really impressed with what he saw, and said he would very likely
join with that cms effort once our imc website is up and running (in drupal
embedded with crabgrass, at least until this phpcake cms is rolled out, then
we'll migrate). I also recently got another local techie to join our
collective (well, he was there all along, but just needed a little push). He
was with John and myself during our trip to DC with the LPFM Lobby Day
grassroots endeavors with Prometheus Radio Project.
Also, while we are on the topic of Crabgrass, I strongly suggest
IMC-Alternatives members join. I will start up a group for IMC-Alt, so once
you get logged in request to join. This would be an important step as it
will allow those of us on this list not already using Crabgrass to utilize
and suggest features, which the tech collective truly appreciate. (On a side
note, I think Prometheus Radio Project will soon be joining Crabgrass as
they have some unique ideas for social organizing tools/features via
crabgrass.
