I didn't do any work on crabgrass, although I did a write-up for Elijah
on how to encode video in ruby on rails. The cms code on escapegoat (I
think it's going to be called "hyperactive") is written in Rails, not
CakePHP. It's sort of an experiment.

We were just discussing crabgrass last night at the london collective
meeting, but I am not sure how the integration would work. The first
thing I said to Elijah when he told me about crabgrass was "wouldn't it
be cool if the byproduct of this political organizing tool was
media?". There could be an opportunity to try and plug together the
system at http://london.escapegoat.org with crabgrass, but I need to
focus on a few other things in my system first - doing a better job with
photos, implementing caching so it can take more load, and messing with
the layout. I also need to finish the video section, adding a one-click
Miro link and a VLC download. If anybody wants to do me a favour, try
the torrent download link at http://london.escapegoat.org/videos/46 and
see if the torrent seed works OK for you (sometimes it takes a while for
it to start).

Greets,

Yossarian
