[Imc-alternatives] any thoughts about the site name?

Hi, I must say when I got the mail I plumped for alternatives in my
mind; and alt is nice short - although it does mean the opposite in
German (alt == old) - alter is always the I think works in European
languages: alter.indymedia.org!? I dunno.
