[Imc-alternatives] any thoughts about the site name?

Well, I am all for Alternatives as the full name. I think it says enough,
and what it does not say, or what it leaves to question, begs people to
find the answer. Alternatives to what? So they look into the site, see
what kinds of alternatives, or the alternative approach to indymedia, etc.
I really think it is perfect; I joined this project because the name
inspired me, made me start thinking of alternative approaches to many
things, and how many other people have alternatives that I have not
thought of yet. Unlike corporate media, we are not spoon feeding people,
telling them what we think they want to hear, so it is really the
unexpected. Alternatives is a broad brush, which gives us and the other
participants freedom of expression.
And, as for alternatives, that is an interesting point that one word is in
so many languages.
OK, got to go, storm rolling in.
