I'm still voting for alternatives - and my impression is that it's ahead.

Solutions is a good choice, but it is less obviously progressive.  It 
sounds like a corporate term  (try googling the two terms) .  (I'd be 
fine with it as a name, if it was winning.)

I think we need to be careful not to get bogged down in the discussion 
too much, as this project has been discussing things for way too long (3 
years?) without coming out with a site.

I'd take a poll between the two - majority wins.   Perhaps combining the 
online poll (at riseup.net) with email votes.
You could also do a secondary poll - would you be fine with the other 
choice, if your choice lost?  That would show us if we are coming close 
to a consensus.
