hey folks,

Now that the design sketches (which are really nice, i think) are
approaching completion, it's time for the group of us who want to
technically implement the site to start moving forward.  I was thinking we
could folk a little implementation working group.  The vision is to
implement this in drupal, leapfrogging on the work of the Philly IMC to
adapt drupal to the needs of an IMC site.  This project has some special
challenges: in particular, I think we're going to need to think about how to
flesh out the "Network" section (which features user profiles) within the
drupal framework.  But the implementation seems both interesting and
achievable!

So please drop me a note if you are interested in directly working on the
technical implementation of the site and we can start coordinating.
