I'm very excited about our starting to use Crabgrass.  I plan to set 
up a profile within in the next few days.

I agree with the ideal set out here recently by you and Aaron K -- a 
positive integration of WiserEarth, ActivismNetwork and Crabgrass 
would be amazing.  (not to mention sharing anything ZNet would be 
willing to share.)

A lot of this is out of our control, but I do think we should be able 
to make a reasonable stab at integrating Activism Network into 
whatever we do, and we don't have too far to reach out to connect to 
people in Crabgrass.

Most directly, we've talked a lot in the past about the best way to 
blend the news-gathering aspects of an Indymedia site with social 
networking.  I think reaching out to the Crabgrass developers sounds 
like an incredibly reasonable and productive way to start to figure 
out how to do this.

As I mentioned a few days ago, I sort-of know one of the Crabgrass 
developers.  She is out of the country but introduced me via e-mail 
to someone who she says I should talk with about this.  She gave me 
his number too.  I'll call him this week and tell him about our 
project.  We'll see what kind of ideas arise.
