I'm also very excited about Crabgrass ... I'm wondering how modular
and flexible is it designed to be? (Don't know much about ruby on
rails yet ...)

And I'm wondering, well, if it is very modular then we could
potentially put our development efforts into that platform. We could
design alt-imc plug-ins, like for the newsfeed, and plug-ins for the
integration into other sites, and plug-ins for other features we've
been kicking around. And we could brand that bundle of plug-ins as
the alt-imc site / social network.

I look forward to hearing back from folks on the details and specifics
of Crabgrass.

jonathan!
