[Imc-alternatives] reminder: vote for name by May 23

A reminder of our May 23 deadline to vote for all the names you like 
on our list.  You can either use the page on the crabgrass group 
(https://we.riseup.net/imc-alt/what-s-in-a-name+8422) or just respond 
to this e-mail with your top few favorites.  Our next step will be to 
pick the top two or three and talk through the pros and cons.

Hi imc-alternatives,

So, we've passed the first deadline on our proposed three-part road 
toward deciding on a site name:

"1) Make all final brainstorm suggestions by next week...let's say, by
next Friday, May 16.
2) Hash out the pros and cons of certain names then vote for our
favorites, with each of us being able to vote for all the names we
like, by Friday, May 23, ending up with a top three.
3) Lobby for our favorite, vote among the top three and come out with
a winner by Friday, May 30."

So, that means that we have between now and this Friday, May 23, to 
vote for our favorites.  The suggestions are all posted on the 
imc-alternatives crabgrass page at: 
https://we.riseup.net/imc-alt/what-s-in-a-name+8422 (michael, is 
there a better link?).

If you're not signed up for the crabgrass group, now is the time!  Go 
to "http://we.riseup.net" and sign up, then join the imc-alternatives 
group.  If you can't figure out how, let Michael 
(lancaster-imc at riseup.net) know and he'll help, or let me know and 
I'll try to help.

Please cast your votes and make comments.  If you can't get to 
Crabgrass, I'll post the current suggestions below.  You can comment 
on your favorites over the e-mail list.

The next step will be to choose a top two or three by Friday the 23th 
and then talk out a decision using this e-mail list by May 30.
