We should probably hone those, but that's a start.

Yeah, we'd need a few volunteer moderators to keep the focus on
alternatives. (so we don't end up with a "solutionswire" that's full
of spam or press releases about protests that don't fit our content.)
We've envisioned the eventual full super-cool site to include a
variety of login levels. I think for this pre-incarnation we should
do a streamlined site that has very few bells and whistles, just a
place to start gathering content and hone in our focus on
alternatives projects, relevant ideas and appropriate news.

I think we should try to make the real CakePHP/Joomla site perfect.
:) This is just to get us going in the right direction.
Robbt, do you and Dave Fregon know each other? If not, you've kind
of already met on this list. Maybe you could work together to get
something up and running a.s.a.p. Josh from Philly is out of the
game for a few weeks, but has offered to help with a drupal version
too once his time clears up.
