[Imc-alternatives] irc Monday night/ gathering content

Apologies for missing the irc this week. I had a dental appointment,  
and my internet connection crapped out, so I couldn't apologize in  
advance.

Regarding tech list, I think this is a priority, so I will set up a  
list on CoActivate. We can always look at migrating the archives to  
lists.indymedia if and when listwork get back to us.

Regarding content. I was thinking that now we have a test site, the  
only things stopping us from starting to gather content on it are:
1) is open-publishing working, at least for registered users, if not anon?
2) is captcha working so that legitimate content doesn't get lost in a  
flood of spam?
3) is the database set up in a way that content posted on the test  
site can be easily migrated to the final site?

I'm starting to feel that focusing on the stories we want to tell will  
help motivate us to deal with the tech and policy issues that stand  
between us and our official launch later this year (touch wood ;)
